With the T20 World Championship less than a month away, the Indian team management are still firm on Jasprit Bumrah’s availability and current fitness. In a recent change of events, Jasprit Bumrah, who is part of the India squad, has been left out of the final XI. Recently, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya stepped up in Bumrah’s defence, saying that the fast pacer deserves all the time to recover and that the Indian team management is in no mood to risk their spearhead ahead of the marquee tournament.

The powerful Indian team failed at the Asia Cup due to their lackluster bowling and lack of intent. Unfortunately, this same pattern is pretty evident in the ongoing series against Australia as well.

Team India have already suffered a major setback in the form of Ravindra Jadeja who will miss the World Cup. Axar Patel, who happens to be Jadeja’s backup, will accompany the team to Australia next month. But as for concerns surrounding deaths, India has a job vacant for itself and management could be held accountable if Bumrah’s case is not handled properly.
